Materials & careCare As most pieces are costume jewellery made from sterling silver or brass, plated with 18ct rose gold, 18ct gold and rhodium, they require special care to maintain their appearance. Here is a list of tips for the care of jewellery. 
Avoid water: Do not place next to heaters, windows, air conditioners or in the bathroom. Do not wear in the pool.  Avoid sweat: Remove jewellery when exercising or performing demanding physical work, as sweating causes the jewellery to tarnish.  Storing in original boxes or pouches is the best way to keep jewellery. A zip plastic bag is a great alternative. 
Avoid cosmetics: Apply scents or cosmetics before putting on jewellery. Perfumes and lotions will tarnish the jewellery. |
